THE WIGGLES
It was a pretty wonderful show. The mom of the little girl I babysit for a few hours a week bought a ticket for me, so I drove my way on down to the Universal City Walk and saw the incredibleness that is, The Wiggles Live! My favorite character, hands down, is Captain FeatherSword!
Wow, I need a little rest after all that dancing and singing. Whoo...
I know I haven't updated in quite a while, but I felt The Wiggles were worthy of bringing me out of the LiveJournal closet. Hope all is well with everyone!

Yo it's Kevy!
Turned 21 a few days ago. Went down to Circle K yesterday and bought a 12 pack of Corona. It felt nice. Christopher Davis split the cost (and the beers) with me. Walter Wade Worthy (aka WWIII) consumed a few as well. It was nice to kick it with the old roommates.
It's cool being back at La Verne. It's all been so exciting these past few days that I haven't had time to miss Manchester just yet, but I know once things start getting boring, I'll be missing all the cool Manchester homies.
Allrighty, well I'm off to South Africa for the next two weeks. Should be a crazy time! I'm pretty excited. You all take care, and hopefully you'll be hearing about my trip in a couple weeks. Peace.

so, im at my friends place in la verne stranded with robert schatz. you know that book Alexander and the no good very bad day? yeah, that's me and robert as of 8 pm last night. so i get off from working an 8 hour shift yesterday and pick up roberts ass from home so we could make it to a dinner party thing out here in la verne. i asked robert if he can drive because i was tired but i took one look at his car and decide that his car probably wont make it all the way there. instead i drove. this is where the fun starts... about 30 minutes into the trip my car just stops on the 57 freeway. (that's what i get for being a smart ass and making fun of his car) its called karma people. anyway, im driving and it literally just turns off. robert, being the smart one is telling me to just cruise the rest of the way. we were about a mile from our exit. i decide to just pull over but then my car starts smoking. yeah, i know. so i call my lovely AAA and they're all nice about it and tell me that they'll send someone right away. meanwhile, my car starts ticking. i kinda sounded like someone knocking on my window. so we get the hell out of there. you know, we dont want the car to explode and junk. it was a cold ass night and we're on the side of the road scared of my car exploding. after about 10 minutes we say screw it and get our, now frozen, butts back into the car. the tow truck guy finally shows up and tells me that my engine might be shot or something. so he tows us to this little shopping center full of mechanics and not one is open. i guess im just naive but i thought 9 pm was early. who woulda thought most places close at 6. now i know. we call our friend emily to pick us up and we finally make it to our dinner about 10. yummy! it was good. then it was time for drinks! these bastard friends of mine just kept feeding me drinks and before i knew it i was playing along to wipe out on my friend liz's butt. i threw up 3 times last night and another 7 this morning. it wasn't pretty. that toilet's never seen so much throw up! i feel so icky sicky right now. plus it's just me and roberto now. hes playing with some conga drums and im just venting on livejournal. you dont have to read this. its more for me. i wanna remember december 28th as the day my car died! although if you just read that last line go ahead and just finish it up. im almost done. but to make matters worse my concert is TONIGHT! TONIGHT! i bought my dresden doll tickets weeks ago and now im worried that i wont be able to make it. screw the car. i wana see brian and amanda get down to some goth/punk/cabaret! why?!!! ugg!!! WHY?!!! okay, well all done.

Hey yo it's kevin jay. just updating because i'm bored and tired of studying for finals.
Hey Happy Birthday to Emily Roberts! 21, ahh yeah! I don't think she reads this, but if anyone reading this knows her, then it might be nice to wish her a Happy Birthday today.
Erin's birthday is in two days (Dec. 13th) so anyone reading this who knows her might want to wish her a happy birthday on tuesday. The big 22! Oh, i'm so proud of her.
So I come home in like 5 days. Pretty crazy to think about that. I've been pretty excited to get home all semester, but now I'm pretty sad about it. I made a lot of good friends out here, and it's gonna be sad to leave them all. I'll see them again, but it was nice to have so many people that I could potentially hang out with on a regular basis. I'm gonna miss that. But as much as I'll miss everyone here, it will be nice to see everyone at home and all the good stuff that comes with being home.
There was an awesome party here on Friday. I got drunk and danced and sang a lot. And a lot of people got drunk and danced and sang with me. And I did a keg stand, and that was pretty spectacular. It was really only the second big party out here all semester. I wish there would've been more, but this party was amazing and it was the perfect way to go out on this last weekend of mine. God Bless America!

So I don't know how many of you read the last entry I made when I was drunk, but I deleted it because I was embarassed of the fact that it was pretty much identical to Shannon's drunk entry. I realized when I woke up the next morning that, in my drunken state, I was subconciously influenced by Shannon's drunk entry that I had read earlier that day, and just did the exact same thing as her. My entry consisted of three single line statements, one of which stating that I was drunk, and the last one stating that I drunk dialed. And Shannon's were three of four single line statements, two of which I believe dealt with the same subjects as mine.
So to make a long story short, I didn't want to take away from Shannon's drunken creativity and therefore deleted my entry. My sincerest apologies to Shannon. Next time my drunk entry will be entirely my own!

Hey this is Kevin Jay Schatz here. I dyed my hair. And when I say "I", I mean Maggie Miller. Except for that last "I" used in which case I was referring to myself. I was also referring to myself with the previous "I" used and so on. (Sorry) Anywho, Maggie is my awesome friend out here, and she was awesome enough to dye my hair, and she did an incredible job. She used purple, blue and orange and made a bunch of circles and other cool shapes with those colors. It looks pretty spectacular to me. So thank you much Maggie. (If anyone wants to see, I have some pictures I could email/IM you...I'd post them here, but I don't know how.)
This was on Friday, so after the dying session, we turned Phase 10 into a drinking game and then played Funner Pictionary while we were drunk. Man that was some awesome drunk game playing! I missed Funner Pictionary, it had been a while.
So that was my Friday, and I did some other stuff this weekend, but I'm not gonna bore you all with that. So hope you enjoyed your reading time. I love you all.

So I got me a radio show here at Manchester College, and anyone can listen via the internet. Just go to: http://wbke.manchester.edu/default.asp?page=main and click the link that says "Listen to WBKE now" near the top of the page. I am on the air on TUESDAY's from 2pm-4pm central time. So that would be 12pm-2pm for all you west coasters. And 3pm-5pm for the east coast folks. And I actually get to choose what I want to play on this station. So I pretty much stick to Skalternative. That would be ska and alternative incase you didn't figure it out. But I can take requests and all that good stuff. Unfortunatley I can't play calls back on the air, but I can play pretty much anything you wanna hear as long as it's in our system or I have the cd. So listen if you feel like doing so, and if not, enjoy whatever else you will be doing during that time. good-bye.
